1. If the company is genuine, the email would never come from @gmail or @yahoo.com etc. Rather it will be like this mytimesmyvoice@timesgroup.com or freshers@infosys.com etc.

2. The mail would be addressed by your name say Mr. Sandip or Mr. Abhay...Fake companies always address their emails as Dear Candidate and not by your name.

3. Genuine companies will never ask you for any money or security deposit of any kind. But fake companies will try to lure with high paid salaries and benefits and they will ask you to deposit a particular amount in their account for covering your travelling expenses and interview costs. And they say its refundable...but actually its NOT!!

4. A real job letter will always have a reference number mentioned....if there is no reference number then its FAKE.

5. Finally by luking at the company logo at the background of the letter you can understand whether its fake...Fake letters in most cases have a blurred company logo and it appears as if it has been pasted from some other source.

I AM POSTING SOME PICS OF FAKE LETTERS I RECEIVED IN THE PAST FEW DAYS... JUST HAVE A LOOK AT THEM AND U CAN UNDERSTAND PROPERLY.
